A Goemai sculpture from the region of Plateau State, Nigeria, standing on wedge shaped feet, the sturdy legs slightly bent and spread apart, accentuated genitals, the elongated torso with a round protruding navel surrounded by ornamental red and black dried berries, decorated with fine incised scarification of varied patterns, a carved zigzag line on the back, sloping shoulders leading to slightly bent arms craved close to the body, showing the palms of the hands, a ring on the neck, a bird head with round protruding eyes of dried berries, the elongated beak is perforated and covered with dried berries in an effective manner, a crest on the top of the head.
