A Moba statuette originating from Togo or Ghana, carved from camel bone in a highly stylised form, the round head with barely indicated facial features, the slender straight body with arms carved free from the body, smooth surface with translucent patina.
The Moba statues of the Chichiri, known as "sakab" (old man), are buried in the ground, sometimes halfway up the torso, and bear the name of the ancestor of the clan they represent.
