Description
A female Senufo sculpture, seated on a two leg stool, the hands resting on the knees, the droplike torso with a pointed navel, surounded by sacrifucations, the hanging breast tapering and with scarification patterns, the arms carved close to the body in oppen work manner, the ovoid head with a slightly protruding fascial plane and a domed coiffure, on top a large vessel for fetish material or sacrifications; Central Korhogo region, glossy, partly fragmentary surface.
