A large Mossi or Nuna mask, Burkina Faso, uprising from an oval fascial plane of hollowed form with rectangular eyes pierced through, framed by a row of reddish “passion pearls”, pierced through, and pointed animal ears, beneath a small, triangular mouth a large, spreading goatee, on top enormous plank-like ornaments, colourful painted and the head of a bird with a curved beak, fixed with leather strings, the large eyes also decorated with small pearls.
