Description
A male Baule sculpture, standing on a rounded base, shortened, slightly bent legs, the droblike torso with scarifications and a pointed navel, the arms carved close to the body and unusual shortened like the legs, the thick neck supporting a spherical head with a small goatee and a threeparted, striated headdress; blackened, partly glossy surface.
