A male Senufo sculpture, standing on large feet, sturdy legs ending up in prominent buttocks and well-emphasized genitals, wearing a carved belt around the hips, a slender torso with a pointed navel, which is surrounded by radially arranged scarification marks, slightly bent arms, hanging close to the body, with one ring around each upper arm and one around each wrist, notched backline, a cylindrical neck supporting an elongated head with bulging heavy-lidded coffee bean eyes and a pointed mouth, showing the teeth, an elongated nose, large semi-circular ears projecting outwardly from the face, the head surmounted by a chameleon; reddish patina, traces of age and ritual use, several cracks, partly eroded.
