A zoomorphic Dogon mask, Mali, of hollowed form, an large open mouth with small iron sticks for teeth, which gives the mask an intense appeal, beneath a large arrow-like nose framed by pierced circular eyes of different size, several holes at each cheek and around the mouth, at the forehead and the temples glass-mirrors, surmounted by an animal horn and a small zoomorphic figure which wears a cloth around the hips, pierced through at the rim for attachment; encrusted by a thick sacrifaction patina, partially eroded, old insect damages, several cracks.
